On Tuesday, (September 23), the Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) announced an increase in gold prices in the local bullion market through a notice. According to the announcement, the new prices will take effect starting Wednesday, September 24, 2025.
According to the new price, the price of the highest quality 22-carat gold (11.664 grams) per bhori has been increased by 3,663 taka, from the previous price of 1,91,196 taka to the new price of 1,94,859 taka.
Similarly, the price of 21-carat gold per bhori has been increased by 3,511 taka, from the previous price of 1,82,495 taka to the new price of 1,86,006 taka.
18-carat gold per bhori has been increased by 2,998 taka, from the previous price of 1,56,426 taka to the new price of 1,59,424 taka.
And traditional (Sonaton) gold per bhori has been increased by 2,554 taka, from the previous price of 1,29,797 taka to the new price of 1,32,351 taka.
